I created this sound with additive synthesis ,using different eg`s and five different sounds for low ,middle and high harmonics. The pluck noise is a filtered noise at the resonance frequency of 523 hz.

Made back in 2005 for a slasher rap beat on fl4 or 5. . Used strings and a dark pad, also a slap bass. This is a mono recording of a psaltery. This was recorded as-found with no tuning or cleaning done to the instrument. It is a series of single tones followed by two note chords. Dissonant and full of texture. It was recorded using an audio-technica at875r microphone at 48khz/24bit.

Chord progression played on a kurzweil 2500rs synthesizer in a-minor key. The mood is dreamlike, melancholic and nostalgic. The instrument is a mix of piano and strings and ends with a long reverb tail. Could fit a soundtrack or an ambient track.

Sound is a bit of prepared guitar. . . The strings had some "twistie-ties" on them, and they were scraped/bowed with a screw driver near the bridge. Guitar was processed with delay, and i believe maybe some other effects. Sounds, at times, similar to a droning sitar.

Various guitars strings plucked above the nut. This gives a sound we are trained to associate with horror films. Useful sounds for sound processing. There was a swarm of annoying motorcyclists - for which i apologise. I suppose if you are a good sound designer, those sounds might also be useful.
